Caroline Island, located southeast of Hawaii, is the place closest to the International Date Line. It is where the day begins first on Earth and where the morning sun rises earliest. Caroline Island is also known as Millennium Island. It serves as a symbol of Caroline University, which aims to cultivate global leaders in the world.
